The United Group® (TUG) is a national, Member-owned sales and marketing group for independent, B2B distributors of Jan/San, Packaging, Foodservice and Safety products and equipment.
The Packaging Wholesalers has been a preferred supplier to TUG members since 2010 and were able to build the partnership each and every year by forming long-lasting relationships via The Ease of Doing Business. The Packaging Wholesalers expansion to Dallas, TX in 2015, Hazleton, PA in 2016 and Atlanta, GA in 2018 allowed us to implement our Ship from Anywhere program virtually eliminating Back Orders. Ship from Anywhere simply means that if one of our distribution centers is short on stock, we’ll fulfill the outstanding balance of your order from one of our other 4 locations. The very reason we were able to increase sales to TUG members by 146% form 2018 to 2019.
The TUG x Packaging Wholesalers relationship was initiated at a breakfast meeting in the Baltimore/Washington airport in June 2009. Attendees were Tobie McKown – TUG/CEO, Vince Cleary – Cleary Packaging/President, Steve Kiszely Jr – Delaware Valley Packaging/President, Steve Kiszely Sr – Delaware Valley Packaging/CEO and Mike Hrbacek -The Packaging Wholesalers – President/CEO. At this year’s show, we were excited to spread the word about our free freight thresholds shipping to all 43,000 zip codes in the United States, as well as our optimized distributor website offering local delivery and CPU in Chicago, Dallas, NYC, Philadelphia, and now Atlanta.
We were most excited, however, to share the news of our new facility servicing the southeastern United States from Atlanta, GA. Opening its doors in early November 2018, this new location features 400,000 sq. ft., 40 dock doors, and a proximity to the southeast that will allow customers to capitalize on competitive pricing and improved lead times. Our nationally recognized Delivered Pricing Program is set to deliver even more value for our customers with the addition of this new location. Strategically located near 3 major interstates, our Atlanta facility will allow us to optimize orders based on their destination. Stay tuned to our social channels for updates on the grand opening.

Our new warehouse in Atlanta supports our ongoing initiatives to provide additional local and regional supply strategies, thus allowing you more opportunity to capitalize on competitive pricing, improved lead times and our nationally recognized Delivered Pricing Program. The addition of our latest location will also enable us to better optimize shipments to you and your customers based upon the order destination. We are located within a few miles of 3 major interstate arteries that are southeast of Atlanta, I-675, I-75, & I-285, making our location convenient and centrally located for both in-bound and out-bound traffic.
